How to use TWS Simulator

The TWS Simulator is an incoming call simulator that allows you to try out TELWatcher Professional without a Caller ID Adapter.


1. Preferences

Setup instructions for the TWS Simulator database and network are the same as those of TELWatcher Server. Please consult the TELWatcher Server manual for details.


2. How to generate a false incoming call

2-1. Specifying Caller ID information 

- Caller ID Number ... Text notification based on Caller ID 
- Caller ID Name ..... Text notification based on Caller ID Name
- Adapter Number ..... Numerical value notification based on the Port number section of the Line No.
- Line Number ........ Numerical value notification based on the Line Number section of the Line No.

Please consult the TELWatcher Client manual for details on Line No.

2-2. Instructions on how to generate a false incoming call 

2-2-1. Click the "Ring" button.

2-2-2. A record is added to the "Incoming Call" database. Then, operations for receiving incoming calls are executed on TELWatcher Client.  

Note: If an error occurs, then the error is displayed in the text area at the bottom of the window.
